A transparent way to use traditional systems

Sibyl Compass is a free, bilingual, privacy-first metaphysics utility platform focused on transparent calculations, traditional-system methodology, and reflective interpretation.

This page explains who publishes Sibyl, how calculation and interpretation stay separate, which evidence labels appear in the product, and where the platform deliberately refuses false precision.

01

About Sibyl Compass

Four tools, one accountable product standard

Sibyl Compass brings Tarot, BaZi, Numerology, and Feng Shui into one bilingual learning and utility platform. Each system keeps its own vocabulary, rules, and limits rather than being collapsed into one generic spiritual score.

Free core access

The current core calculators, card library, profiles, guides, and method disclosures are available without an account or paywall.

Bilingual by design

English and Simplified Chinese pages are edited as complete local-language experiences, not displayed as duplicated bilingual bodies.

Utility before prediction

The product is designed to calculate, explain, and support reflection. It does not promise events, certainty, or guaranteed outcomes.

02

Methodology

Calculation first, interpretation second

A deterministic layer establishes the result before editorial content explains traditional terms or offers bounded reflection. Presentation components may display an engine result, but they cannot repair, infer, or replace it.

Named systems

Every result remains inside its named tradition: a Tarot draw is not a BaZi assessment, and personal Kua is not an Annual Flying Stars chart.

Visible conventions

Where a tradition has competing conventions, Sibyl names the selected method and keeps version information visible.

Fail closed

When time precision, civil-time ambiguity, unsupported interactions, or missing evidence could change a result, the product returns a review-required state instead of guessing.

03

Calculation standards

Versioned rules, traceable inputs, testable boundaries

Sibyl treats each calculation as a contract: defined inputs, a named rules version, structured output, explicit errors, and independent regression evidence for factual boundary cases.

Time is not one coordinate

BaZi and Kua distinguish local civil time, UTC instants, true-solar wall time, solar-term instants, DST ambiguity, and historical timezone provenance where those distinctions matter.

Expected results need independent evidence

Property tests can verify shape and invariants. Specific calendar, pillar, Kua, or Flying Star facts require a canonical specification or an external source rather than expected values generated by the same implementation.

Presentation does not calculate

Localized labels, charts, grids, and reports consume existing engine output. They do not recreate a flight order, pillar boundary, reduction trace, or derived metaphysics rule.

04

Editorial policy

Traditional vocabulary without manufactured certainty

Sibyl explains traditional systems in modern, readable language while keeping cultural interpretation distinct from scientific evidence and deterministic calculation.

Substance over filler

Editorial pages define the symbol or term, explain the named traditional frame, give practical reflection, identify limits, and link to the next useful concept.

No universal-consensus claim

A Founder-approved Sibyl convention is labelled as the platform's canonical specification. It is not presented as the only legitimate traditional lineage.

Review and correction

Content carries versions and provenance where useful. Material calculation or evidence errors are corrected through reviewed repository changes, tests, and release history.

05

Privacy and local-first principles

Personal inputs stay out of the public web

No account or email is required. Birth data, locations, Tarot questions, and private results are not placed in URLs, sent to analytics, or saved to cloud storage by default.

Local calculation

Current tools calculate in the browser whenever the approved architecture permits it. Place resolution uses a local dataset and does not bundle a birth date or time into a lookup request.

Explicit local storage

A feature such as the Tarot journal writes to local browser storage only after the user chooses to save. It remains deletable on that device.

Private results are not indexable

Private-result routes are excluded from the public sitemap and marked noindex/nofollow. Public learning pages never contain a visitor's personal inputs.

06

Limitations

What Sibyl does not claim

These tools present cultural, traditional, and reflective frameworks. They do not scientifically validate metaphysical systems and do not replace medical, legal, financial, safety, construction, or other professional advice.

No guaranteed outcome

A card, number, pillar, direction, or annual star does not guarantee an event, relationship result, health condition, or financial outcome.

Method differences remain real

Different schools may prioritize other rules, thresholds, chart orientations, or interpretive methods. Sibyl names its convention rather than hiding disagreement.

Precision has a boundary

Historical timezone data, provisional adapters, incomplete source precision, and near-boundary inputs are disclosed. Review-required states are a feature, not a missing prediction.

Evidence taxonomy

How Sibyl labels evidence

The evidence class tells you what a test or rule can prove. It does not turn a traditional system into scientific measurement.

PROPERTY

Property

Generated cases that test invariants such as valid ranges, stable shapes, uniqueness, or round trips without claiming a specific historical fact.

CANONICAL_SPEC

Canonical specification

A frozen Sibyl convention or traditional lookup table that has completed the required review and is tested independently from its implementation.

EXTERNAL_AUTHORITY

External authority

Evidence tied to a named outside source such as an astronomical publication or a specific IANA timezone database release.

Choose the system that matches the question

Start with a tool, then follow its result into the existing method and knowledge library.

01

Tarot

Draw from a versioned 78-card deck, then study the artwork, spread, reversals, and reading method.

02

BaZi

Understand Four Pillars, time standards, Day Master, Ten Gods, Five Elements, Hidden Stems, and NaYin.

03

Numerology

See the complete Life Path reduction trace and continue into the twelve reviewed number profiles.

04

Feng Shui

Keep personal Kua, Eight Mansions directions, Li Chun, and Annual Flying Stars in their proper lanes.
